In 2008 we created an information memorandum for a start up company to launch innovative Residential Equity Release products in the UK for the traditional sector and a co-ownership shared equity product for people getting on to the property ladder. The timing was awful and the start up ran out of capital and were unable to continue.

The proposition facilitates a REIT or Long Term Investor investing in UK Residential Property as an asset class without clustering, maintenance, voids, insurance or reputation risk.

The proposal still makes sense for a Long Term Investor who wants to match their outgoings in twenty years time with an asset class that has traditionally had a higher return than inflation and the wage index.
